Man Camp 30: Cold Start

The January MAN CAMP Challenge

Starting January 1, 2026, we are running a 30-day Man Camp challenge so your soul, your body, and your habits start the year moving in the right direction.

Most New Year’s resolutions fizzle out after a couple of weeks. This one is built for real life. We will put you in a small group in the MAN CAMP App so you can encourage and challenge one another. You are not doing this alone.

No matter where you are in your spiritual or physical health (beginner, rusty, or dialed in), this challenge is for you. The best time to start is now.

Here’s how it works

Physical: 16 Days of Intentional Physical Activity

That’s about 4 days a week, or working out about every other day.

  • Minimum 20 minutes a day

  • Walk, run, lift, ruck, play basketball, jiu-jitsu, CrossFit, etc.

You pick your workouts based on your current fitness level and desires. Once completed, log it in the app.

If you feel good and want to do more than 20 minutes, do it. But the line you are committing to is 20 solid minutes, 16 times this month. We are building habits. You are training consistency. Consistency beats intensity when intensity only lasts a few days.

On the days you are not feeling it, tell yourself, “I only gotta work out for 20 minutes.” Half the battle is just showing up. Get moving. When the 20 is up, you can stop with your head high. Anything extra is bonus grit.

Spiritual: engage with scripture Daily in the MAN CAMP APP

For 30 days, we will go through the entire book of John. Twenty-one chapters, broken into 30 bite-sized sections. Each day, a new section unlocks for you to read inside the MAN CAMP App.

The win is not cramming seven days in on a Sunday night or 21 chapters at the end of the month. The win is showing up every day and seeing how God transforms you.

We will drop some optional extra content if you want to go deeper. The main thing is simple: open John, hear from Jesus daily, talk about it with other men.

Cut One Habit for 30 days

This is both spiritual and physical. Pick one thing you want to experiment with going without for 30 days: desserts, alcohol (perfect if you are doing Dry January), late-night snacks, soda, hitting snooze, doom scrolling in bed, or staying up past midnight.

You are not committing to this forever. You are giving it a shot for 30 days to see how your life changes. Just for 30 days, you are going to kill one weak habit on purpose.

Name it. Cut it. Tell your crew. Pay attention to how it affects you.
